Evangeline Gallagher
is a freelance illustrator from Baltimore, Maryland. They received their BFA in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2018 and have gone on to illustrate bestselling book covers and editorials for clients including:
Penguin Random House, the New York Times, The New Yorker, Folio Society, the Wall Street Journal, ProPublica, Warner Music Group, Pearl Jam, The Guardian, Andrews McMeel Publishing, Peachtree Publishing, Harpers Magazine, The New Republic, Scientific American, and more
Their work has been recognized by Society of Illustrators and they were the inaugural winner of Folio Society’s Book Illustration Award in 2022.
When they aren’t drawing they can be found volunteering with lizards and turtles at the aquarium, painting a mural with their friends, or attending a punk show in a basement somewhere. They possess the speed and enthusiasm of 10,000 illustrators.
